Pickleball Grove breaks ground in Spicewood, with outdoor courts aiming for December
Work started October 12 on Pickleball Grove at 5411 Reimers Peacock Road. The first phase is four outdoor pickleball courts, which the team hopes to open in mid to late December.
An indoor building is planned next, with eight pickleball courts (four built for championship play), three padel courts, locker rooms with showers, and a mezzanine lounge with ping-pong and a private meeting room. Every court is set to have PlaySight video cameras. The indoor side is targeted for late February 2027, and a state filing puts the project at about $6.9 million.
Expect open play, clinics and private lessons once it opens.
